Four Lids Left is another drain found by fellow Toronto explorer
Micro.
The large 3000mm RCP outfall meets Etobicoke Creek in Garnetwood Park.
Four Lids Left's main pipe construction is RCP with the exception of a small overflow outfall that is an interesting 2500mm x 1800mm Oval.
The oval pipe is reachable only by climbing over the 6 foot overflow wall that restricts water from leaving the main pipe in all but the largest storms.
After travelling for quite some time, Four Lids Left, gradually begins to decrease in size and an even smaller side pipe leads off in the North-West direction.
As for the name, it describes the drain perfectly but one must see it to understand.
