Westview Greenbelt is one of those few drains that doesn’t feel like a drain. This is due largely to the fact that a section of the beginning of the drain is 3000mm rubber coated CMP. This material gives off a different smell than regular concrete or steel. As well, when shining a torch, it doesn’t reflect the light around like normal pipe. It’s black rubbery surface just absorbs all light and makes flashlights have less of an impact. Besides this strange type of CMP, Westview Greenbelt has stretches of RCP in-between large stairs. These stairs keep the water flowing slower than just a slide and makes ascending much easier. All in all a very enjoyable drain.
